GRADUATE PROGRAM

Master Program (S2) and Doctoral Program (S3)

  1. Create a registration account on the page um.ugm.ac.id
  2. Register online,
  3. Prepare all required documents. The committee only processes documents in accordance with the provisions.
  4. Prepare registration number for academic potential test and English language proficiency test.
  5. Prepare the results of the scan (scan) of the original document below (minimum size of 150KB and a maximum of 800KB for each file; the results of the document scan must be readable clearly for verification purposes), then upload when registering online.

(1) Previous education diploma * .pdf

(2) Previous academic transcripts (all pages, including GPA) * .pdf

(3) Certificate / accreditation proof of previous education study program (current accreditation) * .pdf

(4) Valid certificate of academic potential test results, maximum of 2 years after the certificate is issued at the time of registering (currently):

  1. Academic Basic Potential Test (TPDA PLTI)
  2. UGM Postgraduate Academic Potential Test (PAPs)
  3. Academic Potential Test (TPA) BAPPENAS *

*) For the even semester 2018/2019 (transition period), applicants who already have the certificate can use it to register. * .pdf

(5) Valid certificates of English Language proficiency test, maximum of 2 years after the certificate is issued at the time of registering (currently). Recognized English proficiency certificates are:

  1. Academic English Proficiency Test (AcEPT) from UGM
  2. Test of English Proficiency (TOEP) from the Indonesian Test Service Center (PLTI)
  3. International English Testing System (IELTS) * from institutions recognized by the British Council / IALF / IDP
  4. Internet-Based (iBT) TOEFL * from institutions recognized by IIEF
  5. Institutional Testing Program (ITP) TOEFL * from institutions recognized by IIEF

(6) Health certificate from the Health Service Facility (Hospital, Community Health Center or Public / Private Clinic) that has permit from the Government.

For FKKMK Specialist Program applicants, health certificate is replaced with IDI Recommendations. * .pdf

(7) Study permit or study assignment from agencies for those who work * .pdf

(8) MoU Documents as recipients of scholarships that are still valid (especially for collaborative track applicants) * .pdf

(9) Projection of Wishes

  1. Masters Program Applicants:Projection of candidates' wishes in participating in a postgraduate program that contains reasons, expectations, research topic plans, and plans after finishing the program
  2. Doctoral Program Applicants: Projections of candidates' wishes in participating in postgraduate programs that contain reasons, expectations, research topic plans, plans after finishing the program, and prospective promoters who have been contacted * .pdf

(10) Other Documents:

  1. Applicants for the Masters Program: Thesis research proposal draft / essay writing / other special requirements required by the study program do not need to be uploaded but sent directly to the destination study program attached with a photocopy of proof of registration.
  2. Doctoral Program Applicant: Dissertation Proposal Draft (the draft dissertation proposal do not need to be uploaded but sent / submitted directly to the destination study program attached with a photocopy of proof of the registration). The study program address can be seen on the website pages of each study program.
  3. Fill in the name and email address data from 2 (two) people who were asked to give recommendations. Make sure the recommendation email address is an active email address.
  4. Pay the registration fee through the multi-payment system of Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, BTN, DIY BPD, CIMB NIAGA, Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM), and BNI SYARIAH. Registration fees that have been carried out cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another person / subsequent period for any reason.
  5. Print and save your Registration Proof. Registration proof is used for registration purposes if declared accepted as a prospective graduate student program.

Registration

  1. Having a bachelor degree GPA:

a. Minimum 2.50 (scale 4.00) for graduates of study program accredited A.

b. Minimum 2.75 (scale 4.00) for graduates of study program accredited B.

c. Minimum 3.00 (scale 4.00) for graduates of study program accredited C.

2.Bachelor degree study program accreditation certificate, with the following conditions:

a. The accreditation of the study program in question is current accreditation and is proven by a scan of an accreditation certificate or print screen accreditation from the current page of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT);

b. The Study Program whose accreditation is in the process of being extended is proven by the receipt of the accreditation form submitted to the BAN-PT obtained from the relevant university. The certificate from the relevant university is not valid;

c. Overseas graduates must have a diploma equalization decree from the Ministry of Education and Culture as a substitute for an accreditation certificate.

3. Having a BAPENAS Academic Potential Test (TPA) value: 450; or UGM Postgraduate Program (PAPs): 450; or PLTI TPDA: 450, proven by a valid certificate, a maximum of 2 years after the certificate is issued.

4. Has an English proficiency test score (AcEPT: 149; or TOEP PLTI: 27; or IELTS: 4.0; or IBT TOEFL: 31; or ITP TOEFL: 400, which is still valid, a maximum of 2 years after the certificate is issued.

5. Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) people who know prospective students at the previous level of education, Academic Supervisors and / or other people deemed to be authorized, for example the employer's employer supervisor. The link to provide recommendations online will be sent by the UM UGM Committee to the recommendations via email. Make sure the recommendation recipient's email address is a valid and active email address.

6. A health certificate from a Health Service Facility (Hospital, Community Health Center, or public / private Clinic) that has a permit from the Government;

7. Special requirements:

a. Projection of the wishes of prospective students in participating in the Masters Program which includes, among other things, topic plans / research interests and reasons and expectations of participating in the chosen program, research topic plans, and plans after finishing college

b. Thesis research proposal / essay writing / other special requirements required by the study program do not need to be uploaded but sent directly to the destination study program with a proof photocopy of the registration.

Tuition Fee

 Rp. 9,000,000.00 per semester is paid for at the beginning of each semester

Registration

  1. Having a Master Degree GPA:

    • Minimum 3.50 (scale 4.00) for graduates of study program accredited C.
  2. Master Degree study program accreditation certificate, with the following conditions:

  4. Have an English proficiency test score (AcEPT: 209; or TOEP PLTI: 40; or IELTS: 5.0; or IBT TOEFL: 45; or ITP TOEFL: 450, which is still valid, a maximum of 2 years after the certificate is issued.
  5. Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) people who know prospective students at the previous level of education. Academic Supervisors and / or other people deemed to be authorized, for example the employer of the prospective student. The link to provide recommendations online will be sent by the UM UGM Committee to the recommendations via email. Make sure the recommendation recipient's email address is a valid and active email address.
