On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed a visit from SMAN 2 Solok. Held in the Ketuhanan Meeting Room on the 5th floor, the event was attended by 35 students and 7 accompanying teachers.
The visit featured Zainal Mustofa, S.S., Head of the Faculty Administration Office, and Suhartanto, S.IP., M.Sc., Coordinator of Academic and Student Affairs, as the main speakers. They delivered comprehensive presentations covering various topics, including the history, strengths, and diverse study programs at UGM, along with an introduction to the Faculty of Philosophy. Participants also received valuable information on the admission process, the achievements of philosophy alumni, and strategic advice for choosing a major.
The discussion was lively and engaging, with students enthusiastically asking questions to learn more about academic life and the opportunities offered by the Faculty of Philosophy UGM.
