On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed a visit from SMAN 23 Tangerang. A total of 154 students and 17 teachers gathered in the Persatuan Room on the third floor to learn more about the world of philosophy and academic life at UGM.
The event featured an engaging presentation by Rangga Kala Mahaswa, S.Fil., M.Phil., a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy UGM. He provided insights into UGM’s academic programs, shared his academic journey, and emphasized the importance of philosophy in everyday life. Participants also received valuable information on student admissions and tips for choosing the right major for their future endeavors.
The discussion was lively and filled with enthusiasm, as students actively asked questions and shared their perspectives on higher education. The Faculty of Philosophy UGM hopes this visit inspires SMAN 23 Tangerang students as they plan their paths toward higher education.
