The Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has opened the second enrollment wave for the Fast Track Bachelor–Master’s Program for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This second wave is intended to accommodate students who were interested but were unable to register during the first round.
The Fast Track Program is an accelerated study scheme that allows undergraduate students to continue directly and integratively into the master’s level, enabling them to complete both degrees within only five years. Designed for students with outstanding academic achievements, the program provides opportunities to deepen knowledge, develop professional skills, and expand academic networks in a shorter timeframe.
“The advantage of this program lies in its much shorter duration. In addition, we also provide a reduction in tuition fees, allowing students to save on study costs,” explained Dr. Agus Himmawan Utomo, S.S., M.Ag., Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs.
The Faculty of Philosophy views this program not only as important in terms of study efficiency but also as a strategic effort to prepare highly qualified human resources—future lecturers, researchers, and professionals who can contribute to societal development and civilization.
Students enrolled in the program will begin their master’s coursework in parallel with their final undergraduate semester while maintaining high academic standards in accordance with UGM regulations.
The second enrollment wave runs from June 10 to 25, 2025. Program selection will take place in early July, with results announced on July 9. Successful applicants may complete registration and tuition payment from July 17 to 31, and classes are scheduled to begin in August 2025.
Applicants must meet several academic and administrative requirements, including a minimum GPA of 3.5, a TOEFL score of at least 400, a TPA score of at least 450, and recommendation letters from academic advisors and other relevant lecturers.
Through this program, the Faculty of Philosophy at UGM continues to strengthen the role of higher education in producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also adaptive to contemporary challenges. Prospective participants may also contact program coordinators for further consultation. The Faculty hopes that more outstanding students will seize this opportunity to accelerate their pathway toward higher levels of education.
