The Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) organized a workshop on Compulsory Curriculum Courses (MKWK) on February 2, 2026, at the Grand Rohan Hotel Yogyakarta. The event brought together lecturers responsible for MKWK courses as part of preparations for the upcoming academic semester.
The workshop aimed to align perspectives and enhance the quality of MKWK instruction through the development of Semester Learning Plans (RPKPS), as well as technical coordination for course implementation. During the session, lecturers discussed learning outcomes, teaching methods, and evaluation strategies to ensure that the learning process remains effective and aligned with the university’s academic standards.
In addition to drafting the RPKPS, discussions also addressed readiness for the upcoming semester, including strengthening coordination among instructors, scheduling arrangements, and classroom management to ensure that courses are conducted in an orderly and well-structured manner from the outset.
The Faculty of Philosophy expressed hope that the workshop would contribute to improving the quality of MKWK instruction, fostering stronger collaboration among lecturers, and ensuring that the learning process remains consistent with academic policies and student needs.
Through this initiative, the Faculty reaffirmed its commitment to the continuous development of teaching quality as part of broader efforts to enhance the standards of higher education.
