On Monday, November 4, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) hosted a visit from SMAN 8 Denpasar. A total of 168 students and accompanying teachers gathered in the Selasar Room on the first floor to gain insights into academic life and the unique environment at the Faculty of Philosophy UGM.
The session was led by Dr. Heri Santoso, who delivered an engaging presentation on UGM’s history and strengths, an introduction to the Faculty of Philosophy, the achievements of its alumni, and details about student admissions. Dr. Heri also provided strategic guidance on selecting university majors aligned with students’ interests and talents.
The enthusiasm of the participants was evident through their active engagement during the Q&A session, making the visit not only informative but also inspiring. The Faculty of Philosophy UGM hopes this experience broadens the students’ perspectives as they plan their future academic journeys.
