On Friday, October 11, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) warmly welcomed a visit from SMAN 1 Abiansemal. Over 100 students and accompanying teachers gathered at the faculty’s atrium to learn more about UGM and the world of philosophy.
During the visit, participants were greeted by Suhartanto, Coordinator of Academic and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Philosophy. He provided an insightful introduction to Universitas Gadjah Mada and highlighted the Faculty of Philosophy’s role as a hub for intellectual and philosophical development. The session featured an engaging interactive discussion, with students eagerly posing questions about studying philosophy and opportunities to pursue higher education at UGM.
This visit offered a valuable experience, broadening the students’ horizons and fostering an interest in philosophy as a field of study.
