On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) warmly welcomed a visit from SMAN 1 Bangorejo Banyuwangi. The visit involved 210 students and 18 accompanying teachers, who participated in the event from 08:00 to 09:00 WIB in the Selasar Room on the first floor.
During the event, Dr. Heri Santoso, M.Hum., a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy UGM, gave a presentation about the advantages of UGM, as well as detailed information about the Faculty of Philosophy. This included the programs offered and the faculty’s contributions to both the academic and social spheres. The discussion also provided essential information about new student admissions and tips on selecting the right academic program, helping the students prepare better for their future studies.
The visit is expected to broaden the students’ understanding of the academic world at UGM, particularly in the field of philosophy, and encourage them to think more critically and openly about various disciplines. The Faculty of Philosophy UGM remains committed to fostering strong relationships with schools across the country to advance higher education in Indonesia.
