On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed a visit from SMAN 9 Denpasar. A total of 80 students and 4 accompanying teachers gathered in the Persatuan Room on the third floor to delve deeper into the world of philosophy and explore the opportunities offered at UGM.
The session was led by Suhartanto, M.Sc., who provided an informative presentation about the history of UGM, the strengths of the Faculty of Philosophy, and the various academic programs available. The participants also received valuable insights on student admissions, how to choose the right major according to their interests, and the career potential for philosophy graduates.
The Faculty of Philosophy UGM warmly welcomes visits from schools and fosters strong relationships with various stakeholders to collectively advance education in Indonesia. This visit is expected to provide valuable perspectives for the students as they plan their future higher education.
