On Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed a visit from SMAN Glenmore Banyuwangi. A total of 250 students and accompanying teachers filled the 1st-floor atrium, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement.

Dr. Heri Santoso, M.Hum., served as the main speaker for the event, delivering a range of engaging presentations. His session included an introduction to Universitas Gadjah Mada—covering its history, strengths, and diverse study programs—as well as specific insights into the Faculty of Philosophy. He also shared information about alumni achievements, strategies for choosing a major, and details on the university’s admission process.

The event was highly interactive, with students actively asking questions about campus life, career opportunities for philosophy graduates, and tips for succeeding in higher education. The enthusiasm of the students from Banyuwangi brought a positive energy to the event, strengthening the connection between secondary education and higher education institutions.
