On Monday, November 18, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed a study visit from MA Sunan Kalijogo in Kediri, East Java. The visit was attended by 230 participants, consisting of 208 students and 22 accompanying teachers. The event took place in the Selasar area of the Faculty of Philosophy and lasted from 09:00 to 10:30 WIB.
The event was moderated by Moch. Najib Yuliantoro, S.Fil., M.Phil., and featured Dr. M. Rodinal Khair Khasri, S.Fil., M.Phil., as the key speaker. During the session, the students were introduced to various programs offered by the Faculty of Philosophy at UGM and gained insights into the role of philosophy in higher education.
The activity aimed to provide a deeper understanding of academic life at UGM and the importance of studying philosophy in intellectual and social development. The Faculty of Philosophy greatly appreciates this visit and hopes to continue fostering cooperation with various educational institutions.
