On January 14, 2025, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a staff work meeting in the Persatuan Room, 3rd Floor. The event was attended by approximately 30 administrative staff members from various divisions, coming together to evaluate the achievements of 2024 and plan for the upcoming year.
The meeting was led by the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, Dr. Hastanti Widy Nugroho, S.S., M.Hum. In her presentation, she outlined several key university policies that will guide the faculty moving forward. One of the main topics discussed was the planned revision of the performance-based incentive assessment (IBK) scheme for administrative staff. She also reviewed the faculty’s performance targets for 2024, provided guidance, and introduced the core programs that will be the focus of the faculty in 2025.
“There are university-determined performance targets, and the work of administrative staff is aligned with these targets. There are many aspects to evaluate, and hopefully, in 2025, we can achieve even better results,” she stated.
Additionally, the meeting addressed preparations for the upcoming even semester, which is set to begin in February. Participants discussed strategic steps to ensure the smooth running of academic activities in the new semester. In the next session, the Head of the Faculty Administration Office, Zainal Mustofa, along with the Coordinator of Administration, Finance, and General Affairs, provided technical directives to strengthen coordination between work units. This initiative aims to enhance administrative services for both internal faculty needs and student support.
A key discussion point in the meeting was the faculty’s efforts to reduce emissions by conserving electricity and water usage, as well as minimizing waste production. This aligns with the university’s mandate, which is reflected in one of the faculty’s performance indicators.
The staff work meeting is a regular agenda held at least twice a year. It serves as a crucial moment for administrative staff to evaluate their performance, align their vision, and design strategic steps to ensure that the Faculty of Philosophy continues to provide excellent services and support the university’s goals. Through ongoing collaboration, the Faculty of Philosophy UGM remains optimistic about successfully implementing its 2025 work plan, introducing innovations, and strengthening its position as one of Indonesia’s leading faculties.
