One of the student activity bureaus at the Faculty of Philosophy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), namely the Biro Pers Mahasiswa Filsafat (BPMF) Pijar, collaborated with several student press organizations from other faculties to hold a joint training session on Saturday (March 14) at the Persatuan Meeting Room, Faculty of Philosophy. The training focused on the topic “Hard News and In-Depth Writing Methods”, delivered by Muhammad Iqbal, Editor-in-Chief of BPMF Pijar.

Participants in the training came from four student press organizations within the social humanities cluster: BPMF Pijar, Badan Penerbitan dan Pers Mahasiswa (BPPM) Equilibrium from the Faculty of Economics and Business, BPPM Mahkamah from the Faculty of Law, and Lembaga Pers dan Penerbitan Mahasiswa (LPPM) Sintesa from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.

This joint training aimed to enhance students’ skills and knowledge in journalism. In addition, the event was expected to foster a journalism-friendly climate within the social humanities sphere and serve as a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences across faculties.
