On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) warmly welcomed a visit from SMA Negeri 17 Palembang. The event, held in the Persatuan Room on the 3rd floor, was attended by 150 students and their accompanying teachers, eager to learn more about the Faculty of Philosophy.
The visit featured an inspiring presentation by Dr. Heri Santoso, who highlighted the significance of philosophy in daily life and the Faculty of Philosophy’s role as a hub for intellectual development and critical dialogue. The session included an engaging discussion, where students enthusiastically asked various questions about studying philosophy and how it serves as a foundational framework for future thinking.
