On Thursday, November 7, 2024, the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) warmly welcomed a visit from SMA Kristen IPEKA Grand Wisata, located in Bekasi, West Java. A total of 54 students and accompanying teachers gathered in the Persatuan Room on the third floor to gain a deeper understanding of philosophy and academic life at UGM.
The event was led by Taufiqurrahman, S.Fil., M.Phil, a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy, who provided an insightful explanation about the history, vision, and programs offered by the Faculty of Philosophy, as well as the opportunities available to philosophy students. The students were also informed about the student admissions process and tips on choosing the right major based on their interests and potential.
The Faculty of Philosophy UGM remains open to visits from various schools and is committed to building relationships with different parties to advance education and intellectual development. This visit is expected to inspire the students to plan for a better future in higher education.
